IMPORTANT INFORMATION AND FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Under Section 4 of the Governor’s Stay at Home order about large gatherings of 10 or more, it states “This Section does not apply to religious facilities, entities and groups, and religious gatherings.” Since we are a religious entity and this is a religious gathering, our event is permitted.
Did you get approval to have this event?
Yes. The Logan County Health Department approved our proposal to have this event using the Responsible Restart Ohio plan guidelines.
What safety precautions will you be taking?
Proper signage will be placed throughout the grounds to encourage social distancing, proper hand washing, hand sanitizing, and face coverings. Hand washing stations and hand sanitizer will be placed around the infield. Food vendors will comply with the current standard ReStart Ohio rules for restaurants.
Do I need to wear a mask?
Masks are recommended, but not required.
Why did you change the location?
Because of Covid-19, the state of Ohio is not currently allowing events on their properties. Since Old Field Beach is state property, the event needed to be moved to a new location. The concert will be on the track infield of the Logan County Fairgrounds, which provides adequate space for the crowd to enjoy the event and practice social distancing.
Why are you charging to attend this year?
Selling tickets will allow us to better manage the number of people attending the event in order to implement social distancing. Additionally, due to the current economic climate, ticket sales will help cover costs.
Where do we park?
Parking lots will be the same as those used for the Logan County Fair: Bellefontaine High School (music boosters), the former Pine Avenue School field (academic boosters), and TP Lanes. All lots will charge $3.00 per vehicle.
No. Pets are NOT ALLOWED.
Can we put up a canopy tent or umbrella?
We only allow tents and umbrellas in DESIGNATED areas, just inside the track, opposite side from the food vendors (see map). No stakes in the track, please.
Will the artists be doing autographs before or after the show?
No. Due to precautions related to COVID-19, there are no artist interactions.
Will food vendors be on-site?
Food vendors are available. You are also welcome to bring your own coolers with food and drink. No glass containers.
Is seating provided?
No, you will need to bring a blanket or lawn chair in order to enjoy the concert.
Is there handicapped parking?
Handicapped parking is located inside the fairgrounds behind the grandstands. The entrance is off Harding Street across from the High School. Follow posted signs.
Do children need a ticket?
Children 5 and under get in free.
